The John Lewis of Hungerford was a live project where I was set a brief from a client to create an open plan Scandinavian style, kitchen, living room and dining room. I kept to a minimalist colour scheme whilst adding lots of textual elements such as wooden cabinets and cobblestone walling to add depth to the space. As my project developed I experimented with adding pops of colour such as green bar stools to bring the space to life. The client also enjoyed hosting parties and as a result my dining area had to suit and accommodate up to eight people.

I also created my own bespoke bookshelf which followed a circular shape and had a TV placed in the centre giving the bookshelf two functions. I also kept gaps in between the book shelf to allow light to pass through so that it did not make the study area behind too dark.
