My surface patterns were inspired and created from my Linden Homes project of creating two separate spaces inspired by the Artist Gustav Klimt and the Architect Thomas Heatherwick. I created these patterns by using mixed media such as gold leaf, acrylic paint and charcoal to pull out shapes and patterns that I was inspired by their work. I was really pleased with the final outcomes of these designs as they helped develop my confidence in surface design.
