I visited the the Coco Chanel Exhibition at the V&A so that you don't have to.

Here is all that you need to know...

The exhibition began from the very first designs, designed by the French designer Coco Chanel. As we walked through the exhibition we began to see how her work progressed and developed as she become the well known fashion designer that all we know and love today. Her elegantly casual designs inspired women of fashion to abandon the complicated, uncomfortable clothes—such as petticoats and corsets—that were prevalent in 19th-century. Among her now-classic innovations were the Chanel suit, the quilted purse and costume jewellery.

The exhibition featured over 200 looks ranging from Jewellery,accessories to fashion.

The exhibition was a stunning from start to finish highlighting French elegance and just how ahead of her time Coco Chanel really was.
